OEMT Changelog

This file briefly describes the changes to the OSU Energy Monitoring
Tool (OEMT) software package. The logs are arranged in the
"most recent first" order.


OEMT 0.8 (08/28/2015)

* Features:

    - Linux Kernel Module (koemt)
        - Enables reading (no writing) of a subset of MSRs
        - Available only from Intel SandyBridge architectures onward
    - Utility library to measure the energy consumption of MPI applications
        - Agnostic of underlying MPI runtime
        - Reports energy consumption for CPU (PP0), PKG and DRAM
            - Depending on the availability of MSRs in underlying architecture
