Shared memory Barrier on Opteron Platform (11/10/06)

• Experimental Testbed: Each node of our testbed has two AMD Opteron 2.8 Ghz processors with 1024 KB L2 cache. Each node also has Gigabyte memory and PCI-Express bus. They are equipped with MT25208 HCAs with PCI-Ex interfaces. A Flextronics 144-port DDR switch is used to connect all the nodes. The operating system used was Red Hat AS4.
